Project Supervisor

To supervise and coordinate painting and coating projects at client sites, ensuring work is completed on time, safely, to the required quality standards, and with proper utilization of materials and manpower.

Key Responsibilities  Supervise daily painting and project activities at assigned client sites.  Plan and allocate work to painters, applicators and casual/project workers.  Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within agreed timelines.  Ensure proper surface preparation and paint application in line with Basco quality standards.  Monitor paint and material usage and minimize wastage, misuse or loss.  Ensure proper accountability for materials, tools and equipment issued to project sites.  Ensure workers comply with safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.  Conduct site inspections and ensure defects or poor workmanship are corrected.  Coordinate with clients, contractors and relevant Basco departments on project progress and site requirements.  Maintain attendance and monitor the productivity and conduct of project workers.  Prepare and submit project progress, material usage and site reports.  Report delays, safety incidents, material shortages and client concerns to management.  Support final inspection, snag correction and successful project handover.  Perform any other project-related duties assigned by Management.
